这是watch的固定用法；watch sb do sth.后面只能接动词原形或动词的ing形式。例如：
He watched them eating.（正在吃）
他看著他们吃东西。
I watched him put on his coat. （穿衣服的整个过程）
我看著他穿上衣服。
